Metro Blooms Featured on Fox 9 NewsApril 23, 2008On Tuesday, April 22nd Metro Blooms was featured on the KMSP - FOX 9 Morning Show. Featured in the piece was local ecologist and Metro Blooms Raingarden Workshop presenter, Rusty Schmidt talking about the importance of installing raingardens to protect our natural water resources and easy steps people can take to improve stormwater runoff.
Metro Blooms is a nonprofit educational and membership organization dedicated to ecologically friendly gardening education and the celebration of the achievements of gardeners in the metropolitan Twin Cities. Its mission is to promote and celebrate gardening to beautify our community and to heal and protect our environment.
