Raingarden Workshop

We offer the Raingarden Workshop (Part A) to teach you everything you need to know about raingardens. The Raingarden Workshop (Part B) will help those who have attended Part A get help with their personal raingarden design. The Onsite Consultation allows you have a Landscape Design Assistant come to your property to answer property-specific questions.

New in 2009! In Chanhassen and Savage we are offering a combined workshop format.  Attendees will bring a sketch of their property to the workshop and in one three hour session we will move quickly through an introduction to raingardens to work toward completion of your own raingarden design.

You can choose which part(s) of the program fit your needs. Our goal is to help residents and business owners plan for and install raingardens to help clean and beautify our communities. We ask participants to help defray our costs by paying $10 for each workshop. We offer up to $100 native plant reimbursement grants for residents of Hennepin County, and will have information at our workshops about reimbursements available in other counties.
