Jordan Area Community Council Garden

We worked with the Jordan Area Community Council (JACC) and Rusty and the Crew to add pollinator-friendly plantings in the JACC community garden in North Minneapolis. In spring 2022, volunteers helped us plant a boulevard rain garden there as part of our Boulevard Bioswales program. Later in the fall, volunteers of all ages helped put in native plants in the community garden. We took the opportunity to show our appreciation for the garden caretaker, taking the time to sit down together to to eat Hmong dishes created from ingredients grown in the garden.
