Lynnhurst Yards and Gardens for Clean Water

Starting in 2017, the Lynnhurst Neighborhood Association (LYNAS) has been partnering with Metro Blooms to promote and install a variety of clean water and pollinator-friendly practices in the neighborhood. The Lynnhurst Yards & Gardens for Clean Water Program was created by the Lynnhurst Environmental Committee to promote raingardens, native plantings and bee lawns. This program has been funded with contributions from LYNAS, the Conservation Corps and program participants. A total of 19 raingardens, 10 native plantings and two bee lawns were installed as part of this program from 2017–2019.
